Role Overview

We are looking for a Backup Engineer – L1 to monitor backup infrastructure, troubleshoot backup failures, and support day-to-day backup and restore operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily backup jobs and storage systems.
• Troubleshoot backup job failures and basic backup issues.
• Perform backup and restore operations.
• Monitor backup status and identify failures/anomalies.
• Prepare backup reports and maintain operational documentation.
• Escalate unresolved or complex issues to L2 teams.
• Follow defined backup monitoring and incident management procedures.
