Experience : 6+ Years of Experience inCommVault and Cloudbackupsolutions
Preferred Skills:
- Hands on working experience withBackupsoftware like CommVault, NetBackup, Veeam etc.
- Proficient with Linux OS.
- Primary Troubleshooting of thebackupor restoration failure issues.
- Good understanding on Cloudbackuptechnologies like (GCP /Azure / AWS)
- Must have worked onbackuphardware like (physical / Virtual Tape Library (VTL), disk-basedbackups, understanding to takebackupvia SAN, NAS and other mediums.
- Closely monitor theBackupjobs and dashboard to track the real timebackupfailures.
- Proficient in Incident Management, Performance Analysis, Root Cause Analysis and Alert Analysis.
- Perform restoration as per the request after validating proper approvals and follow the ITSM formalities.
- Timely escalate the issues which are not resolved or seek the required assistance from the next level.
- Installations / Upgrade / Configurations of newbackupclients.
- Periodic housekeeping and logs clean-up for hassle freebackupoperations and vulnerability closures.
- Configure and maintainbackuppolicies, tape drives, CatalogueBackup, Reports andbackuptrend analysis and basic forecasting.
Good to have additional Skills
- Work independently with little supervision on day-to-day tasks,
- Work diligently while receiving general instructions on new assignments or any upgrade etc.
- Ability to handle multi-tasking, prioritization and meet deadline with a flexible outlook and attitude.
- Experience with enterprise level tool sets related to monitoring and analytics.
- Any technology / Cloud related industry standard certification.
- Shell scripting, automation and tool implementations
- Excellent team player.
