Backend Testing

Description

We are seeking a skilled Backend Tester to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our backend systems through rigorous testing and automation.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing test plans and test cases for backend systems
• Performing functional, regression, and performance testing on backend applications
• Identifying and documenting defects, and working with development teams to resolve issues
• Automating test cases and processes using appropriate tools
• Participating in code reviews and providing feedback on testability and quality
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality
• Maintaining test environments and databases for effective testing

Skills and Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in backend testing or related field
• Strong understanding of API testing tools such as Postman, JMeter, or SoapUI
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Familiarity with database technologies and SQL for backend validation
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively
