Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Backend/Systems Engineer with 23 years of experience and a
good foundation in backend technologies. The candidate must have hands-on experience
with Python, SQL, Linux and Bash, along with good programming fundamentals and
knowledge of relational databases.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, maintain, and enhance backend services, APIs, and server-side logic.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Python.
- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and integrations.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and debug complex backend issues effectively.
- Ensure performance, security, and scalability of backend systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 23 years of backend development experience.
- Good knowledge and hands-on experience with Python and SQL
- Good understanding of Linux Fundamentals and Bash
- Solid understanding of relational databases.
- Good debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Bonus / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Django Framework
- Experience with PHP and Laravel framework.
- Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS or GCP).
- Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes.
- Experience with Javascript / Frontend development
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent
experience).
