About The Role
We are looking for a skilled
Backend Python Developer with 3+ years of experience to build and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs. You will work closely with product, frontend, and data teams to develop high-performance applications that handle large volumes of traffic and data.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications
- Work with databases to design efficient schemas and write optimized queries
- Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
- Integrate third-party services, tools, and APIs
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, product, and DevOps
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of backend development experience using Python
- Strong hands-on experience with frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI
- Experience in building and consuming REST APIs
- Good understanding of database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB)
- Familiarity with ORMs like SQLAlchemy or Django ORM
- Understanding of asynchronous programming and background task queues (Celery, Redis, etc.)
- Experience with Git and version control workflows
- Knowledge of API security, authentication (JWT/OAuth), and best practices
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Good To Have (Bonus Skills)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments
- Knowledge of message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience in AdTech, MarTech, or high-traffic platforms
