At Simply Sport Foundation, we're working on a first-of-its-kind AI-powered technology product designed to transform how badminton is experienced, learned, and coached.

We're now looking for a Backend & ML Engineer who's excited about building intelligent systems at the intersection of AI and sport.

1. Bengaluru | Hybrid / On-site
2. 6-Month Contract (with scope to grow as we scale)
3. Backend & ML Engineer (Python, MediaPipe, AWS)

What You'll Do:

• Build and deploy AI and computer vision models

• Develop backend infrastructure to support ML workflows and applications

• Work with MediaPipe, OpenCV, and related computer vision frameworks

• Train, fine-tune, and optimise machine learning models for inference

• Collaborate closely with product, data, and engineering teams

What We're Looking For:

• 3–5 years of experience in Python backend development and Machine Learning

• Hands-on experience with MediaPipe, OpenCV, or similar computer vision frameworks

• Strong understanding of AWS services such as S3, Lambda, SageMaker, or EC2

• Experience with model training, optimisation, and deployment workflows

• Passion for AI, technology, and innovation in sports

• Bonus: Interest in badminton or sports analytics
