Backend Java Engineer with hands-on experience building scalable, secure, and highperformance backend systems. You will work with
Java,
REST APIs, and
Microservices to build core components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.
- Build clean, scalable, and well-documented REST APIs.
- Optimize service performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making.
- Integrate with internal and external systems leveraging REST and messaging systems
- Collaborate closely with Product, DevOps, QA, and other engineering teams.
- Implement automated tests (unit, integration, contract testing).
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments using Docker/Kubernetes.
Requirements
- 46 years of backend development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17+.
- Solid experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data.
- Deep understanding of REST API design, JSON, API versioning, error-handling patterns.
- Handson experience with Microservices architecture
- Experience with Docker, Git, and basic CI/CD workflows.
- Familiarity with messaging queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ) is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platform is an advantage.
- Strong debugging, problemsolving, and performance tuning skills.
