About The Role
We are looking for a passionate and skilled
Backend Java Developer to join our growing engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving abilities and a solid understanding of backend development best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build scalable RESTful APIs and Microservices.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following coding standards.
- Integrate applications with databases, third-party APIs, and cloud services.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and product managers.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.
- Follow Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Java (Java 8/11/17+)
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot
- Experience developing Microservices Architecture
- Good understanding of REST APIs
- Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA
- Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with Git version control
- Understanding of Maven or Gradle
- Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an advantage
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1–6 years of experience in Java backend development.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality solutions.
