Position: Node.js Developer

Role Overview: The Node.js Developer is pivotal in crafting and maintaining server-side functionalities, managing the central database, and ensuring optimal performance and interaction with front-end components. This role involves a blend of technical prowess and aesthetic acumen, contributing to both server-side logic and the visual aspects of application design.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and sustain server-side network components using Node.js.
Create, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs with Express.js.
Focusing on low latency, high availability, and exceptional performance.
Seamlessly integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Embed security measures and data protection strategies.
Craft reusable, testable, and efficient code.
Collaborate with front-end developers to amalgamate user interface elements with server-side functionalities.
Merge multiple data sources and databases into a cohesive system.
Oversee and manage application hosting on cloud platforms.
Develop and implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.
Optimize application performance, balance loads, enhance usability, and automate processes.
Cooperate with internal teams to cultivate, scale, and maintain functional applications.
Engage in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
3-4 years demonstrated experience as a Node.js Developer.
Experience with Microservices and AWS is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, Express.js, and RESTful APIs.
Proficiency in database technologies, preferably MongoDB.
Strong grasp of asynchronous programming, its peculiarities, and applicable solutions.
Familiarity with server-side templating languages.
Proficient in agile methodologies and comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Proficient in code versioning tools, notably Git.
Acquainted with accessibility and security compliance standards.
Skilled in designing database schemas that reflect and bolster business processes.
Knowledge of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application.
Adept in resolving cross-browser compatibility issues.
Experience with continuous integration and deployment processes.
Exceptional communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and time management skills.
