Lyzr is Looking for:
We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer with strong experience in Python-based backend systems and cloud-native development. The ideal candidate will be comfortable building scalable APIs, working with real-time communication, and integrating modern AI/Studio APIs such as Agents and Knowledge Bases.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and FastAPI
- Build and optimize RESTful and real-time APIs, including WebSockets
- Work with MongoDB for schema design, data modeling, and query optimization
- Deploy and manage backend services using Docker and AWS
- Integrate and work with Studio APIs such as:
- Agents
- Knowledge Bases (KBs)
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability
- Collaborate closely with frontend, AI, and DevOps teams
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 34 years of hands-on experience in backend development
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Experience building APIs with FastAPI
- Solid working knowledge of MongoDB
- Experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, ECS, Lambda or similar)
- Hands-on experience with Docker
- Experience implementing WebSockets or other real-time communication mechanisms
- Familiarity with Studio APIs (Agents, Knowledge Bases)
Good to Have
- Experience with async programming in Python
- Exposure to AI/LLM-based applications
- Experience with cloud-native or microservices architectures
- Basic understanding of system design and scalability concepts
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
