Job Description

We are looking for an Expert Backend Developer with proven expertise in n8n and agentic workflow automation. The role involves building scalable backend systems, designing automation pipelines, and creating AI-powered agentic workflows that can orchestrate tasks across APIs, databases, and third-party services.

You will work closely with our product and AI engineering teams to develop automation layers, integrate multiple services, and ensure our systems are reliable, efficient, and future-proof.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs.
Create agentic workflows that orchestrate multiple AI agents, tools, and APIs using n8n (and potentially similar platforms).
Build integrations between internal systems, external APIs, and third-party services.
Optimize workflows for scalability, security, and performance.
Collaborate with AI/ML teams to embed intelligence into automated pipelines.
Implement best practices for monitoring, logging, and error handling in automation systems.
Continuously research and adopt new tools/approaches in workflow automation and backend development.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong expertise in backend development (Node.js / Python / TypeScript preferred).
Deep experience with n8n (building, deploying, and scaling workflows).
Proven ability to design and implement agentic workflows (multi-step, decision-based, AI-powered automation flows).
Experience integrating APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and external services.
Understanding of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Knowledge of authentication standards (OAuth2, JWT, API keys).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with LangChain, AutoGPT, or other agent frameworks.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Exposure to event-driven systems and microservices.
Hands-on experience in AI product integration (LLMs, embeddings, vector DBs).
