About The Role
EcoRatings is seeking a talented Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team in Noida. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about building high-performance web applications that support sustainability initiatives. As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable API services and backend systems that underpin our AI-driven sustainability platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, data scientists, and designers to deliver innovative features that enhance our platform's capabilities. The role requires a strong focus on cloud deployment, security, and performance optimization, ensuring our solutions are robust, reliable, and scalable. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated developer eager to contribute to impactful technology that promotes environmental responsibility.
Qualifications
- B.Tech or M.Tech degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in back-end development using NodeJS and/or FastAPI.
- Strong knowledge of Linux-based systems and application deployment.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, DevOps practices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex systems.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude suitable for an agile environment.
- Preferred: Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful API design, or agent-based workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive web API interfaces using NodeJS and FastAPI, ensuring high performance and security.
- Deploy, manage, and scale applications on AWS cloud infrastructure, monitoring system health and security protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver innovative features in an agile manner.
- Implement testing strategies, automation pipelines, and CI/CD practices to streamline development and deployment processes.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues promptly to maintain optimal application performance and user experience.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, systems, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and future enhancements.
- Participate in code reviews to uphold code quality standards and best practices within the team.
