Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our dynamic team in Chennai. As a mid-level developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing backend services that power our advanced customer engagement solutions. This is a full-time position for individuals with a maximum of 6 years of work experience, who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are ready to contribute to exciting digital transformation initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in Java (Mandatory skill) for building scalable, high-performance applications and services.
- Experience with Spring Boot (Mandatory skill) for creating production-ready applications and services.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs (Mandatory skill) for designing and implementing web services that facilitate communication between systems.
- Understanding of MYSQL/SQL for managing relational databases and ensuring data integrity in application development.
- Familiarity with ManngoDB for efficient handling of data storage, retrieval, and management.
- Experience with microservices that promote flexibility and scalability in application architecture.
- Knowledge of Redis and Kafka for managing distributed data storage and stream processing in real-time.
- Solid foundation in Core Java for understanding object-oriented programming concepts and software design principles.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust backend services that support our various messaging channel offerings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features that enhance customer engagement.
- Enhance existing applications by designing and implementing new modules and features as needed.
- Ensure high availability and performance of backend services to support client requirements.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring coding standards are maintained.
- Optimize complex queries and improve system efficiency for better response times and reduced latency.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of secure coding practices to protect customer data.
- Keep up with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes.
