About The Role

We are looking for a Backend Developer to join our engineering team. We value strong fundamentals,

problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn over extensive industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend APIs using Python and FastAPI
• Design and work with PostgreSQL databases
• Write efficient SQL queries and troubleshoot database issues
• Build and test backend features from development through deployment
• Work with Docker-based development environments
• Deploy and maintain applications on Linux-based systems
• Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver scalable and reliable software
• Use modern AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve productivity
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong programming fundamentals in Python
• Good understanding of APIs, HTTP, and backend development concepts
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL queries
• Familiarity with FastAPI or similar backend frameworks
• Understanding of Git and common development workflows
• Basic Linux command-line proficiency
• Basic understanding of Docker and containerized applications
• Knowledge of unit testing and software testing fundamentals
• Basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis
• Basic understanding of system design and backend architecture concepts
