Job Description
About the Role:We are looking for a talented Backend Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable and high-performance backend services using FastAPI, Python, Node.js, and working with databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
You will play a key role in designing APIs, optimizing database interactions, and ensuring the reliability and security of backend systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using FastAPI, Python, and Node.js.
Work with PostgreSQL and MongoDB to model data, write efficient queries, and optimize performance.
Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver seamless and scalable solutions.
Implement authentication, authorization, and secure data handling practices.
Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following best practices.
Identify and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architecture discussions.
Stay updated on new technologies and contribute to improving development processes.
Required Skills Experience
Strong backend development experience with FastAPI and Python.
Experience with Node.js, including building scalable APIs and middleware.
Proficiency in working with PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB, including schema design and performance optimization.
Understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices
Knowledge of authentication mechanisms such as OAuth, JWT, etc.
Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker is a plus.
Experience with Git and version control workflows.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to code quality and efficiency.
Ability to work in an agile environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
