Backend Developer

Job Summary

1. Design and implement backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
2. Develop and optimize database schemas and queries using Cassandra and Oracle SQL.
3. Integrate and work with Apache Kafka for event-driven architecture and messaging.
4. Collaborate with frontend developers to design and implement end-to-end solutions.
5. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
6. Perform unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting to ensure software quality and reliability.
7. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
8. Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in backend development.
9. Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to deploy and monitor applications in production environments.
10. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

What are we looking for

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
3. Strong proficiency in Java programming language and Spring Boot framework.
4. Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases like Cassandra and relational databases like Oracle SQL.
5. Familiarity with Apache Kafka for building real-time data pipelines.
6. Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
9. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
10. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.
