We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in building scalable backend systems using microservices architecture. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of Java, Terraform, Spring Boot, REST API development, and hands-on experience with GCP or AWS cloud platforms. Strong system design skills are essential. SQL knowledge is an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services using Spring Boot / Spring MVC.
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance microservices.
- Expertise in Terraform.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs with internal and external systems.
- Participate in system design discussions, architecture planning, and code reviews.
- Deploy and manage services on GCP or AWS cloud environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable code and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Java (Core + Advanced).
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud.
- Expertise in REST API development.
- Good understanding of microservices architecture.
- Strong skills in multithreading, concurrency, and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with GCP or AWS (any cloud platform is acceptable).
- Solid understanding of system design and design patterns.
- Familiarity with SQL databases (optional but preferred).
Preferred Skills (Nice To Have)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions).
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- NoSQL databases.
