Backend Developer - Java

Key Responsibilities:

▪ Translate complex business and functional requirements into robust technical solutions.

▪ Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable backend systems and services.

▪ Own the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirement analysis to

production deployment.

▪ Build high-quality, extensible, and maintainable applications while ensuring timely delivery.

▪ Drive adoption and evolution of engineering best practices, coding standards, and development

tools.

▪ Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, QA, and Business teams to deliver efficient

solutions.

▪ Lead architecture and design discussions and provide end-to-end technical solutions.

▪ Drive continuous improvement in product, process, and technology.

▪ Manage and participate in bug triage, root cause analysis, and production issue resolution.

▪ Monitor product quality, performance, and delivery metrics, and provide regular status updates to

stakeholders.

▪ Stay current with emerging technologies, open-source frameworks, and industry trends.

▪ Contribute to reusable frameworks, standards, and solution methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

▪ 4+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.

▪ Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.

▪ Excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and software design

patterns.

▪ Proven experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.

▪ Strong experience with SOA / microservices architecture and N-tier application development.

▪ Good understanding of database design, SQL optimization, and development using MySQL /

MongoDB.

▪ Experience with messaging and queueing platforms such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar.
