Role Overview: We are looking for a passionate Backend Developer Intern who is eager to build scalable server-side applications using Node.js and Nest.js.
This internship is ideal for recent graduates who want hands-on experience in backend development, API design, and system architecture while working with experienced engineers in a collaborative environment.
This is a paid, performance-based internship with a clear opportunity for full-time conversion based on performance.

Duration: 36 Months
Work Mode: Work from Office (WFO)
Location: Pune (candidates from Pune or willing to relocate preferred)
Working Days: Monday Friday

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and Nest.js
Design and implement RESTful APIs
Handle database operations and data modeling
Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of backend systems
Integrate third-party services and APIs
Debug, test, and optimize backend performance
Collaborate with frontend developers for seamless integration
Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices
Required Skills (Must Have)
Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+)
Basic knowledge of Node.js and backend development concepts
Understanding of Nest.js (preferred) or willingness to learn
Familiarity with REST APIs and HTTP protocols
Basic understanding of databases (MongoDB/MySQL/PostgreSQL)
Knowledge of Git and version control
Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn
Good to Have (Not Mandatory)
Familiarity with Nest.js framework architecture (controllers, services, modules)
Knowledge of authentication (JWT, OAuth)
Experience with ORMs like TypeORM, Prisma, or Mongoose
Understanding of microservices architecture
Exposure to Docker or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.)
Personal backend projects or GitHub portfolio
Eligibility Criteria
Recently completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Graduated within the last 12 years preferred
Strong interest in backend development and APIs
Candidates with backend projects or GitHub profiles preferred
Note: Only candidates who have completed graduation are eligible. Final-year students are not eligible.
