Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer Intern to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with backend technologies and will be proficient in MongoDB, MySQL, Node.js, Express.js, AWS services (including EC2, Route53, and S3), and testing frameworks such as Mocha and Chai. This position primarily focuses on backend development, with an emphasis on building scalable, efficient, and secure backend solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend solutions using Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, MySQL, and AWS services like EC2, Route53, and S3.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend functionalities seamlessly with the frontend.
- Implement and run unit and integration tests using Mocha and Chai to ensure backend functionality is reliable and robust.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues to ensure optimal performance and functionality of the backend systems.
- Implement security measures and data protection protocols to safeguard sensitive information.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and enhance product offerings.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, MySQL, and AWS services (including EC2, Route53, S3).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Mocha and Chai for writing and running tests.
- Experience with AWS services is essential, particularly for backend hosting and service integration.
- Good understanding of backend architecture, including server management, databases, and APIs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
