We are looking for a backend developer who can not only write code but also build reliable systems that scale with users. You will work smoothly with other teams and continuously improve our architecture as the product grows. We value engineers who can independently ship features, collaborate effectively, and keep our backend modern and dependable.
Key Responsibilities
- Creation & architecture:
- Core development: Develop backend applications and services using Python and Django, ensuring code quality and maintainability.
- API design: Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support web and mobile platforms efficiently.
- GraphQL management: Build GraphQL schemas, queries, mutations, and resolvers (using Graphene-Django, Apollo, etc.) for flexible data retrieval.
- Microservices: Work with Node.js for specialized workloads, background processing, or complementary backend tasks.
- Performance & security: Optimize systems for scalability and speed while implementing security best practices (authentication, authorization, and data protection).
- Collaboration & operations:
- Frontend integration: Collaborate closely with frontend developers to ensure smooth API integration and prevent deployment issues.
- Quality assurance: Conduct code reviews and contribute to technical discussions to maintain high engineering standards.
- DevOps partnership: Partner with DevOps on deployments, monitoring, and CI/CD pipeline optimization.
- Incident resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Continuous improvement: Stay updated on emerging technologies to keep our system modern, efficient, and future-ready.
