Your Role And Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled
Test and Automation Engineer to join our team. The role involves ensuring continuous delivery of high-quality products to stakeholders by designing, executing, and maintaining automated test environments. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Work as a Test and Automation Engineer to ensure continuous delivery of the product.
- Create and update test environments and code, execute automated test scenarios.
- Collaborate with development and system test teams to ensure product quality, usability, and serviceability.
- Apply continuous delivery and test practices using open-source DevOps tools and solutions.
- Verify product functions/components to ensure they meet design specifications.
- Handle testing and debugging tasks independently.
- Contribute as a strong team player with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Experience with Cloud and System architecture, Linux/Unix, Virtualization, and Firmware testing.
- Hands-on experience in Cloud or Virtualization domains.
- Proficiency in automation languages and tools such as Python, JavaScript, and Cypress Automation.
- Experience administering Linux/UNIX systems and working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Sonar, JFrog).
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with Agile Software Development methodologies.
- Ability to work under schedule pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience in creating test plans, developing test cases from requirements/design documents, and generating reports.
- Understanding of the software development life cycle.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Experience with tools such as Cypress, Jenkins, Git/GitHub, or equivalent.
- AI Skills
- 5 to 7 years of relevant industry experience.
