Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java (and related frameworks).
- Build and manage RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
- Optimize database queries and backend performance.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term fixes.
- Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality features.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging backend technologies.
Nice To Have Skills
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to front-end frameworks (basic understanding).
Must Have Skills
- Strong proficiency in Java (8 or higher).
- Experience with Spring Boot / Spring Framework.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
- Good knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito, etc.).
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
