Backend Developer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Convert product requirements into efficient backend solutions.
• Improve system performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with frontend teams for API integration.
• Maintain code quality and engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot issues and ensure high system availability.
• Participate in code reviews, system design, and sprint planning.

Requirements

• Backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Node.js and/or Python.
• Experience with REST APIs and backend architecture.
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and data modelling.
• Understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of caching, messaging queues, and asynchronous processing is a plus.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and security.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
