Role Description The Backend Deployment role at PPStack is a full-time remote position focused on ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable deployment of backend services that power PPStack's learning and career platforms. Responsibilities include configuring and managing deployment pipelines, overseeing releases to staging and production environments, and monitoring system performance and availability. The role involves diagnosing and resolving backend deployment issues, coordinating with development and DevOps teams to implement updates, and maintaining deployment documentation and best practices. The position also includes collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to support new feature rollouts, improving deployment automation, and contributing to the stability and efficiency of PPStack's infrastructure.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for diagnosing deployment issues, interpreting logs and metrics, and optimizing backend performance.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, product teams, and non-technical stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to handle incident response, resolve backend service disruptions, and assist teams during releases.
• Candidates should possess Training capabilities to document deployment processes, create knowledge materials, and guide team members on tools and best practices.
• Experience with backend technologies (e.g., APIs, microservices, databases), CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP), and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, along with familiarity with monitoring tools and version control systems (e.g., Git), is preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple deployments, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced, growth-oriented EdTech setting.
