About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on engineer who can support both backend systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS). This is not a pure DevOps role.

You will be responsible for:

·      deploying and maintaining the platform

·      supporting backend systems

·      ensuring everything runs reliably in production

You will work closely with the development team to ensure smooth releases and stable systems.

Key Responsibilities

Deployment & Infrastructure

·      Deploy and manage applications on AWS

·      Configure and maintain cloud services (compute, storage, networking)

·      Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines

·      Handle domain, DNS, and SSL configurations

Backend Support

·      Work with backend developers to support application deployment

·      Assist in debugging production issues

·      Ensure APIs and services are stable and performant

·      Support database setup and maintenance

Reliability & Monitoring

·      Monitor applications and infrastructure

·      Identify and resolve performance issues

·      Manage logs and alerts

·      Ensure uptime and system reliability

Security & Best Practices

·      Implement basic cloud security practices

·      Manage access control and permissions

·      Ensure safe and reliable deployments

What We are Looking For

·      AWS Certification is a plus

·      2–4 years experience in:

o  AWS

o  backend or cloud engineering roles

·      Strong understanding of:

o  cloud infrastructure (AWS)

o  Linux environments

o  networking basics

o  EC2, S3, IAM, Route 53, RDS, CloudFront, VPC, Load Balancer

·      Experience with:

o  Docker, Kubernetes or ECS

o  CI/CD pipelines

o  debugging real production issues

·      Experience with monitoring tools

·      Experience handling production deployments

·      Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

·      Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to Have

·      Experience with infrastructure automation

·      Exposure to backend development

·      Database experience (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
