Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Backend Case Manager to manage and support U.S. immigration cases, including H-1B, Green Card (GC), and Change of Status (COS) cases. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of case documentation, timelines, forms, and filing procedures, along with excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Handle and manage H-1B, Green Card, and Change of Status (COS) cases from the backend.
- Prepare, complete, and review immigration forms and supporting documentation.
- Maintain accurate case timelines, deadlines, and status updates.
- Assist in preparing and compiling petition and filing packages.
- Review case documents for completeness, consistency, and accuracy.
- Coordinate internally to collect required documents and information for case preparation.
- Maintain proper case records, trackers, and documentation.
- Conduct regular follow-ups on pending documents, case requirements, and deadlines.
- Identify missing or inconsistent information and coordinate for necessary corrections.
- Support senior team members/attorneys with case preparation and documentation.
- Ensure cases are processed within defined timelines and internal procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of client and case-related information.
- 0-1 year of experience in U.S. Immigration / Immigration Operations / Case Management / Backend Processing.
- Practical knowledge of H-1B, Green Card, and Change of Status (COS) processes.
- Familiarity with immigration forms, documentation, and petition filing requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors or missing information.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace, especially Excel/Google Sheets.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the team.
- Experience working with U.S. immigration law firms, immigration service providers, or immigration consulting companies.
- Knowledge of USCIS processes and case documentation.
- Experience maintaining immigration case trackers and databases.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
