Job Summary:

The Back Office Manager will be responsible for handling day-to-day operational activities,

ensuring smooth settlement of trades, client account management, compliance with

regulatory requirements, and coordination with other teams to support front office

operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth settlement of trades in equity, derivatives, commodities, and currency segments.
  • Reconcile daily transactions and client ledgers.
  • Prepare and maintain MIS reports related to trading, payouts, and client activities.
  • Coordinate with exchanges, depositories (NSDL/CDSL), and clearing members for operational tasks.
  • Monitor margin requirements and ensure compliance with SEBI and exchange regulations.
  • Handle client queries related to account statements, contract notes, and payouts.
  • Assist in audits, inspections, and compliance reporting.
  • Maintain accurate and updated records of all back-office operations.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Good knowledge of stock broking operations, depository processes, and trading lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and back-office software (ODIN, NEST, Shilpi- Capex or similar platforms).
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-pace environment.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate in Commerce / Finance / Economics or related field
  • 5 years and above of experience in stock broking.
  • NISM certifications (Equity / Derivatives / Depository Operations) will be an added advantage.
