Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Back Office Executive & HR role based in Kolkata. The role involves managing day-to-day back office operations, including data entry, documentation, record maintenance, and coordination with internal teams to support business processes. The individual will handle core HR activities such as maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment coordination, supporting onboarding and exit processes, and ensuring adherence to HR policies and procedures. The role also includes addressing basic employee queries, helping organize training or engagement activities, preparing HR-related reports, and supporting payroll or attendance documentation as needed. The Back Office Executive & HR team member will work closely with management to ensure smooth office operations and a consistent, compliant HR framework.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR), with understanding of HR Management principles and practices.
  • Experience in HR Operations, including documentation, attendance management, and support for recruitment and onboarding.
  • Ability to manage Employee Relations professionally, including handling queries, feedback, and basic grievance support.
  • Knowledge of HR Policies and compliance, with the ability to help implement and communicate guidelines within the organization.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort with digital record-keeping and basic HR software tools.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills in English; additional local language skills are an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Previous experience in a back office, HR, or administrative role, preferably in an IT or services environment, is desirable.
