Back End Engineer - Python

Key Responsibilities

• Build clean, scalable, and well-structured backend services using FastAPI and REST APIs
• Design efficient data models, write optimized database queries, and ensure data consistency
• Develop and maintain backend systems aligned with product roadmap and platform architecture
• Follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices by writing automated tests prior to implementation
• Ensure backend code is production-ready, maintainable, and reliable
• Integrate third-party services such as payment gateways, AI APIs, and cloud storage solutions
• Design fault-tolerant and highly available integration patterns
• Work with AWS cloud services including S3, RDS, EKS, CloudWatch, IAM, and EC2
• Build backend systems optimized for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, and AWS services
• Ensure systems are observable, debuggable, and meet uptime and reliability requirements
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Engineering, and DevOps teams to deliver features efficiently
