Back End Developer

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled backend developer with strong experience in Java technologies, containerised environments, database systems, and networking fundamentals. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable enterprise applications and cloud-native platforms.

Job location: Bangalore/Hyderabad

Notice period: immediate to 30 days

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and related technologies.

• Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Develop and optimize database schemas, queries, and integrations across relational and/or NoSQL databases.

• Work with REST APIs, JSON-based integrations, and modern web technologies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions.

• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.

• Participate in CI/CD pipeline development and automation initiatives.

• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security best practices are followed.

• Support deployment and operations in cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Core Technical Skills

• Strong experience in Java and Java-related technologies/frameworks.

• Hands-on experience with:

Docker

Kubernetes

• Good understanding of database technologies, including:

SQL/Relational Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.)

NoSQL databases are a plus.

• Working knowledge of:

JavaScript

JSON

◦ RESTful APIs and web services.

• Basic understanding of Networking fundamentals, including:

TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS

Basic security concepts.

Preferred / Optional Skills

• Exposure to Python scripting or automation.

• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.
