The Role

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise integration solutions within a large-scale banking environment. The role involves migrating legacy TIBCO BusinessWorks applications to Apache Camel-based microservices architecture while ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.

Responsibilities:

·      Design, develop, test, support, and enhance enterprise applications.

·      Develop integration solutions using Apache Camel, Java, and Spring Boot.

·      Migrate existing TIBCO BW processes to Apache Camel architecture.

·      Build and maintain REST APIs and backend services.

·      Implement message routing, transformation, and integration patterns using Apache Camel.

·      Integrate applications with databases, third-party systems, and enterprise services.

·      Perform unit, integration, regression, performance, and functional testing.

·      Create technical designs, UML diagrams, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts.

·      Prepare technical, release, and deployment documentation.

·      Deploy application components, shell scripts, and database changes.

·      Troubleshoot production issues and provide application support.

·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges.

·      Participate in process improvement, innovation initiatives, and recruitment activities.

Must - Have Qualifications:

·      Strong experience in developing enterprise integration solutions using Apache Camel and Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP).

·      Hands-on expertise in Java and Spring Boot for building scalable backend applications and microservices.

·      Proven experience in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs and service integrations.

·      Experience in migrating legacy TIBCO BusinessWorks (BW) applications to Apache Camel-based architectures.

·      Good understanding of message routing, transformation, and orchestration across distributed systems.

·      Strong knowledge of TIBCO BW and TIBCO EMS in enterprise integration environments.

·      Experience working with relational databases and writing optimized SQL queries.

·      Exposure to messaging platforms such as Kafka or NATS for event-driven integrations.

·      Proficiency in Linux environments, including shell scripting and application deployment activities.

·      Hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines for automated build and deployment processes.

·      Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and development best practices.

·      Experience in application design, UML modeling, technical documentation, and solution architecture.

·      Strong expertise in unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and performance testing.

·      Ability to troubleshoot production issues and provide effective application support.

·      Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).

·      Experience in legacy application modernization and enterprise integration transformation projects.

·      Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

·      Exposure to Kafka, NATS, or other enterprise messaging platforms for event-driven architectures.

·      Experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation practices.

·      Knowledge of cloud-native technologies, containerization (Docker), and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).

·      Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Treasury, or Capital Markets domain projects.
