About Klarixa 

Klarixa AI is building the intelligence layer for life sciences quality and compliance — the kind of software that turns 6-week deviation investigations into 6-hour ones and makes inspection-ready every day an actual operating reality instead of a slogan. 

We're born out of 26+ years of hands-on GxP auditing, computer system validation, and pharma quality systems. Our founders bring a rare combination of deep AI/SaaS engineering DNA and frontline life sciences expertise — 200+ audits conducted across FDA, EMA, and MHRA-regulated environments. We don't sell generic AI wrapped in pharma language. We encode regulatory fluency into software, built by people who know exactly what breaks, what gets cited, and what actually works.

The Role 

We're hiring a Backend Developer who wants to build the core systems behind a category-defining AI product — not maintain someone else's legacy stack. 

You'll work directly with the founding team in a lean pod structure: small, high-trust, multi-disciplinary teams that own outcomes end-to-end. No layers of approval, no waiting for a Jira ticket to thaw. You ship, you measure, you iterate. 

This is an AI-native engineering org. We expect every engineer to be fluent with modern AI dev tooling — Claude Code, Cursor, agentic workflows, LLM-in-the-loop systems — not as a novelty but as the default way we build. If you're still writing every line by hand and treating AI as cheating, this isn't the right fit. What You'll Do 

• Design, build, and scale backend systems and microservices that sit at the core of our platform 
• Write clean, well-documented Python that other engineers (and AI agents) can extend 
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and WebSocket services for real-time, high-performance workflows 
• Own our Postgres data layer — schema design, query optimization, scaling decisions 
• Deploy and maintain containerized services using Docker 
• Work extensively with AWS (EC2, ALB, S3, Route 53) and own pieces of our cloud infrastructure 
• Build and harden CI/CD pipelines so we can ship multiple times a day with confidence 
• Pair closely with frontend engineers, PMs, and founders on architecture, product, and go-to-market decisions 
• Take full ownership of features — from spec ambiguity to production telemetry — and bring strong opinions about what we should build next 

What We're Looking For 

• 1–3 years of backend experience with a real track record of building scalable systems (not just toy projects) 
• Strong Python fundamentals and comfort across its ecosystem 
• Hands-on with Postgres, MongoDB, Docker, and microservices 
• Practical AWS experience (EC2, ALB, S3, Route 53) 
• Solid grasp of REST API design and WebSocket communication 
• Strong CS fundamentals — data structures, algorithms, performance instincts 
• Familiarity with CI/CD and modern deployment practices 
• Comfort with ambiguity, fast iteration, and high ownership — you don't wait to be told what to do 

Preferred Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from a reputed engineering institute such as IITs, NITs, BITS Pilani.
• ORprior experience at a reputed product company, high-growth startup, or leading technology organization.
