Back End Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong backend expertise and working knowledge of Flutter to build and maintain scalable cloud-native applications.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience developing backend services using Django and/or FastAPI, deploying applications on AWS, managing containerized workloads using Kubernetes, and building robust APIs consumed by Flutter mobile applications. Experience publishing applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store is highly desirable.

This role is backend-heavy with Flutter as a supporting skill—not a Flutter-only position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Python (Django/FastAPI)
• Build secure and high-performance REST APIs for web and mobile applications
• Develop and maintain Flutter applications with clean, maintainable code
• Integrate Flutter applications with backend APIs and third-party services
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on AWS
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy workloads on Kubernetes
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases
• Manage application deployments to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and production support

Must Have Skills

• 6–8 years of software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Hands-on experience with Django and/or FastAPI
• Good working knowledge of Flutter and Dart
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience using Git and modern development workflows
• Experience deploying and maintaining applications in production environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
• Experience with Redis, Celery, or message queues
• Knowledge of WebSockets or real-time communication
• Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams

What We Are NOT Looking For

This is not a Flutter-only mobile developer role.

Candidates whose primary expertise is limited to:

• Flutter UI development only
• Frontend development without backend experience
• Pure DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure roles
• Native Android/iOS development without Flutter
• Backend development without any Flutter exposure

will not be a fit.

Ideal Candidate

A versatile Full Stack Developer with strong backend engineering skills who can build scalable APIs using Django/FastAPI, work confidently with AWS, Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL, and contribute to Flutter-based mobile applications when needed. The ideal candidate should be comfortable taking ownership of the entire application lifecycle—from backend development and cloud deployment to mobile integration and app store releases.
