Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with strong experience in Node.js and REST API development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend applications using Node.js and Express.js.
- Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs.
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services.
- Work with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Implement authentication and authorization using JWT/OAuth.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Perform API testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Optimize application performance and database queries.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and other teams.
- Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
- Use Git for version control and contribute to CI/CD processes.
- Document APIs and backend technical processes.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience developing REST APIs.
- Good knowledge of Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of API security, authentication, authorization, and data validation.
- Knowledge of asynchronous programming, promises, and event-driven architecture.
- Familiarity with Git.
- Good understanding of debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
