Back End Developer

Position: Back End Developer

Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha

Experience: 2 – 5 years

Qualification:

B.E/ B tech/ Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic and communication, Instrumentation, Medical Electronics, Electrical/ Electronics, Computer Science/IT or related field.

Technical Skills:

·      Good knowledge of REST API development and integration

·      Experience with Yii / Laravel, LAMP Stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL/MongoDB, PHP), HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX/Fetch, jQuery, Node.js, and React.

·      Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or MongoDB.

·      Good understanding of authentication mechanisms such as JWT/OAuth.

·      Understanding of Git and version-control systems.

·      Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.

·      Understanding of API security, data validation and error handling.

·      Familiarity with debugging and performance optimization.

·      Experience with AI tools and platforms to enhance productivity, automate tasks, analyze data, and support software development and business processes.

Good to Have:

·    Experience working with health-tech, IoT, medical devices or healthcare applications.

·    Experience handling real-time or device-generated data.

·    Knowledge of Bluetooth/IoT data integration.

·    Understanding of microservices architecture.

·    Familiarity with mobile application backend development.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Design, develop and maintain robust backend applications and RESTful APIs.

·         Develop scalable and secure server-side applications for web and mobile platforms.

·         Design and manage databases, data models and efficient database queries.

·         Integrate backend systems with mobile applications, web applications and IoT/medical devices.

·         Implement authentication, authorization and role-based access controls.

·         Ensure data security, privacy and integrity across backend services.

·         Work with third-party APIs and external service integrations.

·         Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues and production problems.

·         Work closely with QA teams for testing, debugging and release activities.

·         Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to understand requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

·         Monitor backend services and troubleshoot issues in production.

·         Contribute to system architecture, scalability and performance improvements.

·         Maintain proper technical documentation for APIs, services and backend components.
