Job Title: Back-End Engineer
Client Location:USA
Working Days/Hours:Monday-Friday/10AM-6PM EST
Contract Type: Full-time Contract
Monthly Salary: USD 1300-1800
Job Overview:
One of our clients is looking for a Back-End Engineer with 4–5 years of experience to support the development of scalable and efficient systems. This role focuses on building and maintaining back-end services, working with modern architectures, and contributing to rapid prototyping and product iteration. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in fast-paced environments and can independently deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable back-end systems and services
- Design and implement serverless, modular, and auto-scaling architectures
- Collaborate with front-end and product teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Build and iterate quickly using a rapid prototyping approach
- Manage and optimize database structures and queries across modern database solutions
- Implement and maintain APIs and integrations
- Support deployment and infrastructure using modern DevOps tools
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the application stack
Must-Haves:
- 4–5 years of experience as a Back-End Engineer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript
- Solid understanding of modern architectures (serverless, modular, auto-scaling)
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and platforms (e.g., Docker, Vercel, Sevalla, or similar)
- Experience with modern database solutions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and build using a rapid prototyping approach
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Great-to-Have:
- Experience with Next.js
- Exposure to full-stack development
- Experience working in startup or fast-paced environments
