Crossing Infotech is offering a full-time remote internship opportunity for an aspiring Backend Developer to gain practical exposure to server-side development, APIs, databases, programming, debugging, and web application development.

The role focuses on assisting with backend development tasks and gaining hands-on experience in building application logic, working with databases, developing APIs, and supporting web applications.

Responsibilities

* Assist in developing and maintaining backend applications and services.

* Write clean and maintainable server-side code under appropriate guidance.

* Assist with developing and integrating REST APIs.

* Work with relational databases and perform basic SQL operations.

* Assist with implementing application logic and backend functionality.

* Support integration between frontend applications and backend services.

* Debug and troubleshoot basic backend and API-related issues.

* Perform basic testing of APIs and backend functionality.

* Assist with data validation and error handling.

* Work with developers to understand technical requirements.

* Use Git or other version-control tools for assigned development work.

* Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback.

* Maintain basic technical documentation for assigned tasks.

* Assist with improving existing backend functionality.

* Complete assigned development tasks within agreed timelines.

* Familiarity with Node.js, Express.js, Django, Flask, Spring Boot, or similar frameworks is an advantage.

* Knowledge of REST APIs and JSON is an advantage.

* Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or another database system is an advantage.

* Basic knowledge of Git and GitHub is an advantage.

* Academic or personal backend development projects are welcome.
