Job Description

8+ years of strong experience in Node.js backend development with deep expertise in TypeScript.
Proven experience designing and delivering robust IoT solutions, including edgetocloud integration, IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP), and real-time telemetry processing.
Hands-on experience with AWS, particularly AWS IoT Core, IoT Analytics, Device Defender, IoT Device Management, and other cloud-native services.
Strong understanding of API design, integration patterns, and microservices architecture.
Experience with API management platforms, preferably Kong, including traffic control, policies, and plugin configuration.
Strong background in Kafka, event streaming, consumer group management, and distributed event-driven architectures.
Solid experience with MongoDB, including schema design, indexing, querying, telemetry workflows, and sharding/replica set concepts.
Proficiency across the Node.js ecosystem including Express/Fastify, asynchronous programming, security, and performance tuning.
Additional programming knowledge in Java or Python is a plus.
gRPC (Google Remote Procedure Call)
Experience with CI/CD tools, Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, and IaC using Terraform.
Strong analytical ability, with hands-on experience in incident response, debugging, and root-cause analysis in IoT or distributed cloud environments.
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, engineering best practices, and DevOps principles.
Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-team collaboration skills.
