Back End Developer

Role Description This is a contract Back En Developer role based in New Delhi with a hybrid work model, allowing a mix of on-site and work-from-home days. The Back End Developer will design, build, and maintain server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power web applications and digital marketing platforms. Daily responsibilities include developing and optimizing back-end services, integrating third-party APIs, ensuring data security and performance, and troubleshooting production issues. The role will collaborate closely with front-end developers, designers, and marketing teams to implement new features and improve existing systems. The developer will also participate in code reviews, write technical documentation, and contribute to best practices for scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Strong back-end web development skills, including experience with server-side frameworks, RESTful APIs, and database design.
• Solid software development experience, including version control (e.g., Git), debugging, testing, and working in collaborative development environments.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns for building modular, maintainable code.
• Basic understanding of front-end development and how back-end services integrate with user interfaces.
• Hands-on programming experience in one or more relevant languages (e.g., Java, Python, PHP, Node.js, or similar).
• Familiarity with security best practices, performance optimization, and scalability for web applications.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working in digital marketing, advertising technology, or analytics-driven environments is an advantage.
