Back End Developer

Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer with 3-5 years of hands-on experience to

join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will work closely with senior developers to

design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and databases for healthcare

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend

services using Python, ensuring scalability and reliability.

API Development Lead the design and development of RESTful APIs using Fast API or

Flask, with a focus on robustness and security.

SQL Database Management Write and optimize complex SQL queries, working with

relational databases to ensure high availability and performance.

ORM Expertise Use SQL Alchemy or similar ORM frameworks for efficient and

maintainable database operations.

API Integration Integrate third-party APIs and services, ensuring smooth data flow and

minimal latency using tools such as the Requests library.

Performance Optimization Collaborate with the team to debug, troubleshoot, and

optimize backend systems for better performance and resource utilization.

Code Quality & Review Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality,

maintainable code, and adhere to best practices.

Documentation & Agile Maintain up-to-date documentation and follow agile

development practices to deliver incremental value.

Mentorship Actively mentor junior developers, sharing knowledge and providing

guidance on best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core (Must-Have)

Python Expertise Strong command of Python, including advanced concepts like

decorators, generators, and context managers.

API Development (Fast API/Flask) Solid hands-on experience designing and developing

REST APIs using Fast API or Flask.

Database Skills (SQL) Deep understanding of SQL, including joins, views, indexes, and

query optimization techniques.

ORM Knowledge Proficient in using SQL Alchemy or similar ORM libraries to interact

with relational databases.

API Integration Hands-on experience integrating with third-party APIs, including data

parsing, handling responses, and error management.
