BA BI Lead

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced BA/BI Lead to drive business analysis and business intelligence initiatives within the Instrument & Enterprise Services (IES) domain. The role involves leading enterprise analytics strategy, designing scalable BI solutions, and enabling data-driven decision-making.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Power BI, SSAS, Databricks, Amazon Redshift, and AWS, along with the ability to lead teams and deliver advanced analytics solutions, including AI/GenAI-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Planning

Define and execute the BI roadmap aligned with enterprise data and digital transformation goals

Partner with business stakeholders to standardize KPIs, metrics, and reporting governance

Identify opportunities to integrate advanced analytics, AI/ML, and automation into reporting solutions

Drive modernization of analytics platforms using AWS, Databricks, and cloud architectures

Project Ownership & Delivery

Lead end-to-end delivery of BI solutions from requirement gathering to deployment

Oversee development of Power BI dashboards and reports

Design and manage SSAS tabular models and semantic layers

Ensure optimized data architecture using Amazon Redshift, Databricks, and AWS services

Governance & Advanced Analytics

Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance compliance

Drive adoption of AI/ML models, anomaly detection, and automation frameworks

Lead implementation of Generative AI use cases such as:AI-assisted reporting

Natural language querying

Automated insights

Monitor analytics platform performance and user adoption

Team Leadership

Lead and mentor BI developers and analysts

Provide technical and architectural guidance for analytics initiatives

Promote innovation, automation, and continuous learning

Cross-functional Collaboration

Act as a bridge between business, data engineering, and IT teams

Translate business requirements into scalable BI and analytics solutions

Drive adoption of modern BI and AI capabilities across the organization

Required Skills & Experience:

10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence / Analytics / Data Engineering

Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (enterprise reporting, modeling, performance tuning)

Expertise in SSAS tabular modeling and semantic layer design

Strong experience with Amazon Redshift, Databricks, and AWS ecosystem

Deep understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and data governance frameworks

Experience integrating AI/ML or advanced analytics into BI platforms

Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Generative AI (GenAI) and AI-driven analytics solutions

Exposure to natural language reporting and intelligent automation frameworks

Experience in service/operations analytics environments

Relevant certifications in AWS, Power BI, or AI/ML
