Role Description This is a full-time, on-site B2B Sales Manager role based in Mumbai. The B2B Sales Manager will identify, qualify, and close partnerships with schools, learning centers, and other institutional clients. Responsibilities include managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and outreach to product demos, negotiations, and contract finalization. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their needs, and positioning BookEinstein's programs and library services as solutions. The B2B Sales Manager will collaborate with the academic and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding, monitor account performance, and gather feedback to inform product improvements. The role also includes preparing sales forecasts, tracking performance against targets, and representing the company at education events, conferences, and meetings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in edtech, education services, publishing, or related sectors.
- Strong skills in lead generation, pipeline management, and closing deals with institutional clients.
- Ability to build and sustain long-term relationships with school leaders and other stakeholders.
- Solid communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with comfort speaking to senior decision-makers.
- Data-driven approach to tracking sales metrics, forecasting revenue, and reporting performance.
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup or growth environment is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered education and enthusiasm for children's books and reading.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai and travel locally for client meetings and events as needed.
