Role Description This is a full-time, on-site B2B Sales Associate (Outbound) role based in Mumbai. The B2B Sales Associate will focus on prospecting and reaching out to schools, educational institutions, and related organizations through outbound calls, emails, and meetings. Responsibilities include generating and qualifying leads, presenting BookEinstein's offerings, conducting product demos, and managing the end-to-end sales cycle from initial contact to closure. The role will involve maintaining an active sales pipeline, tracking activities in a CRM, coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding for new partners, and meeting or exceeding defined revenue and activity targets. The associate will also gather market feedback, contribute to refining sales pitches and materials, and represent BookEinstein professionally at meetings, events, and school visits.
Qualifications
- Strong outbound B2B sales skills, including prospecting, cold calling, lead qualification, and pipeline management.
- Proven ability in relationship building, stakeholder management, and consultative selling to schools or institutional clients.
- Clear and confident communication skills, including presentation, negotiation, and the ability to explain offerings in a simple, compelling way.
- Basic proficiency with CRM tools, spreadsheets, email platforms, and online meeting tools to track and manage sales activities.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and handle field visits as needed.
- Prior experience in edtech, education, or selling to schools is preferred but not mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Comfort working on-site in Mumbai and willingness to travel locally for client meetings and school visits.
