Description:
The SaaS Account Executive will be responsible for driving new business acquisition, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, and building lasting relationships with clients. This role requires a combination of sales intelligence, consultative skills, and the ability to navigate complex SaaS sales processes. The position is based at our Chennai office and requires full-time, on-site presence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities through inbound leads, outbound outreach, and partner channels.
• Conduct high-quality product demos and presentations tailored to the client's needs.
• Manage the complete sales cycle—negotiation, objection handling, and closing deals.
• Collaborate with marketing and SDR teams to optimize lead flow and conversion.
• Develop account strategies for pipeline growth and expansion into new markets.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasting, and performance reporting.
• Build trusted relationships with decision-makers (Founders, CMOs, and Marketing Leaders).
• Stay updated with SaaS industry trends, competitors, and buyer needs.
Requirements
• 2–5 years of experience as an Account Executive or Sales Representative in a SaaS or B2B tech company.
• Proven success in managing the full sales cycle and consistently meeting quotas.
• Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, sales funnels, and value-based selling.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and listening skills.
• Experience with CRM software (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment with on-site collaboration.
• Familiarity with outbound tools, sales intelligence platforms, and intent data systems is a plus.
