About the Role

The B2B Lead Generation Specialist within the Marketing and Corporate Communication (MCC) team plays a pivotal role in driving qualified pipeline growth through targeted outreach to Private Equity (PE) firms, Venture Capital (VC) firms, PE-backed companies, and investment professionals. This role designs and executes compliant, technically accurate campaigns that resonate with decision-makers, leveraging LinkedIn outreach, email automation, and CRM management. It requires a strong understanding of financial services and investment ecosystems, combined with data-driven insights and creative problem-solving to craft personalized engagement strategies that convert high-value prospects. The position collaborates closely with marketing leadership and cross-functional teams to align lead generation efforts with business objectives, support revenue goals, and integrate emerging technologies for measurable impact.

Key Role Deliverables

  • Build and maintain verified prospect lists; ensure CRM accuracy and data hygiene
  • Drive LinkedIn and email outreach to VC, PE, and investment professionals
  • Qualify leads and hand over high-intent prospects with complete context to Sales
  • Schedule meetings and nurture conversations to drive conversions
  • Optimize outreach strategies using analytics and performance insights
  • Track and report campaign performance metrics, recommending improvements for future outreach strategies

Operational Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage multi-step LinkedIn outreach campaigns using advanced automation tools (e.g., Sales Navigator, Apollo, Lemlist, Dripify, LinkedHelper), ensuring personalized engagement with the Management, and other key stakeholders in VC, PE, and investment firms
  • Drive engagement and optimize conversions by monitoring campaign performance, managing follow-ups, nurturing conversations, and scheduling meetings for sales teams
  • Plan and execute cold email campaigns tailored to financial decision-makers, including list segmentation, A/B testing, deliverability optimization, and drip sequences with value-driven content (case studies, insights, research assets), while ensuring compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and global outreach regulations
  • Source and build high-quality prospect lists from verified platforms such as Crunchbase, Pitchbook, Apollo, LinkedIn, and Dealroom, ensuring accurate segmentation and data integrity
  • Maintain CRM hygiene and enrich prospect data through tagging, scoring, and updates (HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive), supported by in-depth research on industries, deal activities, and investment theses to target the right opportunities
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports on campaign effectiveness and lead quality, tracking key metrics such as reply rates, meetings booked, SQL conversion rates, and overall pipeline contribution
  • Leverage analytics to optimize outreach strategies, improving targeting, content relevance, and channel performance for higher engagement and conversions
  • Collaborate with content specialist in the marketing team to develop impactful outreach assets such as whitepapers, one-pagers, VC-focused messaging, and case studies that strengthen engagement with target audiences
  • Drive innovation in outbound strategies by identifying new channels, tools, and techniques, while staying informed on market trends in VC/PE and financial services to ensure relevance and effectiveness
  • Qualify leads based on ICP and lead scoring, and collaborate with Sales teams to hand over high-intent leads with complete context for conversion

Prerequisites

  • Experience B2B outbound lead generation with a proven track record in financial services, targeting VC, PE, fintech, or investment banking
  • Proficiency in LinkedIn outreach tools (e.g., Sales Navigator, Apollo) with hands-on experience in cold email automation, multi-step drip campaigns, and CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive)
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Marketo, Outplay, Apollo, and Lemlist for campaign execution and optimization
  • Familiarity with VC/PE terminology, deal cycles, capital markets, and fundraising processes
  • Ability to analyze investment theses, deal activity, and industry trends, with knowledge of CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and global outreach regulations
  • Strong copywriting for financial decision-makers, excellent research, analytical, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple campaigns independently
  • Experience with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Outplay)

Experience

3-5 years of experience in B2B outbound lead generation within financial services.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or related field; MBA or certifications in Digital Marketing, CRM, or Lead Generation tools preferred.
