Position: PLC/SCADA Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a PLC/SCADA Engineer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, PLC programming, SCADA systems, control panels, and electrical systems. The candidate will be responsible for PLC/SCADA programming, system integration, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs for industrial automation and control systems.
• Configure and maintain SCADA/HMI systems for monitoring and control.
• Perform PLC/SCADA integration with field devices, sensors, actuators, drives, and control panels.
• Assist in FAT, SAT, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automation systems.
• Read and interpret Electrical Schematics, Control Panel Drawings, SLDs, and Wiring Diagrams.
• Work with communication protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, or similar industrial protocols.
• Configure PLC I/O, alarms, tags, interlocks, logic, and HMI/SCADA screens.
• Coordinate with electrical, instrumentation, project, and site teams for successful project execution.
• Identify and resolve PLC, SCADA, communication, and electrical control-system issues.
• Prepare technical documentation, test reports, I/O lists, and commissioning reports.
• Provide support during site installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure project execution as per technical specifications, quality standards, and timelines.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of PLC programming and SCADA systems.
• Working knowledge of HMI, VFD, control panels, sensors, relays, contactors, and industrial automation.
• Understanding of electrical control systems and industrial automation.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and automation-related issues.
• Good understanding of electrical drawings and control circuits.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel to project/customer sites as required.

Preferred Technical Exposure

Experience with any of the following will be an advantage:

• Siemens PLC / TIA Portal
• Allen-Bradley / Rockwell PLC
• Schneider PLC
• WinCC / Wonderware / Ignition / other SCADA platforms
• HMI configuration
• VFD/Drive integration
• Industrial Ethernet / Modbus / Profibus

Eligibility

• B.Tech/B.E. – Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in PLC, SCADA, Industrial Automation, Electrical Controls, or System Integration.
• Candidates with hands-on project/site commissioning exposure will be preferred.
