We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented B.Pharm graduates to join our Medical Coding team. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing medical records and assigning accurate diagnosis and procedure codes using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines. Key Responsibilities
- Review patient medical records, physician notes, and clinical documentation.
- Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on documentation.
- Ensure coding compliance with client and industry guidelines.
- Maintain productivity and quality standards as defined by the organization.
- Identify missing or incomplete documentation and escalate when required.
- Follow HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Participate in coding audits, training sessions, and continuous learning activities.
- Meet daily coding targets and turnaround time requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Good understanding of Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, and Medical Terminology.
- Basic knowledge of disease processes and healthcare documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and computer skills.
- CPC, CCS, or any medical coding certification (preferred but not mandatory).
