Role: Azure System Administrator
Experience: 4-10 years
Locations: Hyderabad/ Chennai
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Azure resources: VMs, Azure AD, Storage Accounts, VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, App Services.
- Administer Azure Active Directory, Identity & Access Management, MFA, Conditional Access.
- Monitor and maintain cloud performance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights.
- Handle system administration tasks for Windows/Linux servers hosted on Azure.
- Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Implement Azure backup, restore, failover, DR, and high availability.
- Manage and optimize cost usage through Azure Cost Management.
- Troubleshoot Azure networking: VPN Gateways, ExpressRoute, Peering, Routing.
- Deploy and maintain IaC using ARM templates / Terraform / Bicep.
- Support deployments and collaborate with DevOps teams.
- Perform incident, problem, and change management activities.
Required Skills
- 410 years of system administration experience with strong exposure to Azure cloud.
- Handson experience with:
- Azure VMs, Azure AD, Storage, VNet, RBAC, NSG, App Services, Key Vault
- Strong understanding of Windows Server / Linux administration.
- Scripting skills: PowerShell / Bash / Python.
- Experience with identity management and Azure AD Connect.
- Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Terraform, Bicep).
- Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and security best practices.
- Azure Certification (AZ104 / AZ900 / AZ303/304) is a strong plus.
