Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect with deep expertise in Azure Cloud, Enterprise Architecture, and Application Modernization to lead large-scale digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining target-state architectures, driving cloud migration strategies, establishing architecture governance, and ensuring scalable, secure, and resilient technology solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and govern enterprise-wide target-state architecture for application modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.
- Develop architecture blueprints, reference architectures, technology roadmaps, and architectural standards.
- Lead cloud migration, application modernization, and application refactoring programs using Microsoft Azure.
- Design scalable, resilient, secure, and highly available enterprise solutions.
- Establish and enforce architecture governance, design reviews, and best practices across programs.
- Collaborate with business leaders, engineering teams, and delivery organizations to align technology solutions with strategic business goals.
- Drive adoption of cloud-native architecture principles, microservices, APIs, containers, and DevSecOps practices.
- Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational excellence requirements.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and provide strategic recommendations to support business growth and innovation.
- Mentor solution architects and technical teams while providing architectural leadership across programs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- 12+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Application Architecture, or Cloud Transformation.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services and cloud-native architecture.
- Proven experience leading enterprise-scale cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API-led development, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Deep understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud governance.
- Experience designing highly scalable, resilient, secure, and available enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and Azure Well-Architected Framework.
- Strong understanding of security architecture, compliance, risk management, and governance.
- Experience creating enterprise architecture standards, reference architectures, and solution blueprints.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep).
- Experience with Azure Landing Zones and Cloud Adoption Framework.
- Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and API management platforms.
